Super yummy and satisfying Chocolate Cake and that too in a pressure cooker
- Maida: 250gms
- Powdered sugar: 250gms
- Baking powder: ½ tbs
- Baking soda: ½ tbs
- Coco powder: 2tbs
- Milk: ½ glass
- Eggs: 2nos
- Cooking oil: 5tbs
- Vanilla essence: 1tsp
- Warm water: ½ glass
- Salt or sand for baking
Step 1: Prepping the pressure cooker
At first turn the gas on and place the cooker and pour salt, cover the lid and pre heat the pressure cooker.
Step 2: Making the batter
Now in a medium bowl pour maida and powdered sugar. And take a strainer and refine and add baking powder, baking soda and Chocó powder in and mix.
Now further more add cooking oil, vanilla essence and crack open two eggs in it and add the milk as well. Whisk everything together, you can use an electric blender to whisk as well and make smooth and lump free batter. Add a little warm water so the batter is nice and smooth.
Step 3: Baking it
Now firstly grease a tin mould in which the cake is to be baked and then pour the entire cake batter in it and tap it out so the air bubbles comes out. Now our pressure cooker is well heated up so carefully place it inside and cover the lid. Do make sure to remove the whistle of the pressure cooker and cook it for 30mins at least.
Step 4: Checking up
After 30mins open the lid and poke a knife or a wooden pick and check if it’s baked nice and soft. If the knife or pick comes out clean then yummy chocolate cake is ready.
Step 5: Serving up
Now take the mould out of the pressure cooker and lightly run the knife along its edges and de-mould it on a plate.
Now cut the cake into two layers from middle and make it yummier by layering it up with chocolate spread. Cover the outer layer with chocolate spread as well and decorate with gems candies and enjoy.
- While preheating instead of salt, one can use sand and dust as well.
